Village Hall

The Village Hall is set in a 6 acre Recreation Ground with parking for approx 30 vehicles. This includes disabled parking and access ramp to the hall..

The children’s play area is equipped with swings, see saw and a Trim trail course.

The Recreation Ground was given to the village in 1928 by Mr George Ferris and the Village Hall was added in the 1970’s.

The hall consists of a main hall, kitchen, bar/ utility area, gents and ladies/disabled toilets.

The main hall can seat up to 100 theatre style and up to 80 around tables.

The hall is always warm with our modern ground source heating throughout.

HallLicensed for plays, films, indoor sporting events, live music, Performance of dance and sale and consumption of alcohol on premises only. (Times & restrictions apply)

6 acre Recreation Ground with children’s play area. Ideal for children’s parties or outdoor celebrations. ie: marquees for weddings, parties, etc.

Regular activities include Pilates, Yoga, Art groups, Guides, Youth football, Parish council and a variety of Committee led events: Skittles evenings, ferret racing, bingos, harvest supper and more!

The grounds are also used for the popular Rough & Tumble Run in January and the village charity Summer Fayre in June.

The hall is available for hire on a hourly, daily or block booking. Hall hire ranges from £8 per hour depending on its usage.  For up to date prices please contact booking clerk.
